Q: Will my things be protected from changes in moisture and temperature?
There is no need to be concerned with moisture or temperature change as our facilities are climate-controlled; providing air conditioning and dehumidified air.

Q: What type of security features do you offer?
When it comes to security, we offer individual gate access codes, computer-controlled access, access activity and usage monitor screen with printout, multi-camera video surveillance, a well lit facility, and have high-security unit locks available for sale.

Q: Do you provide locks?
As far as locking your unit is concerned, we'd like you to be in control. Use one you already have, or you can purchase high-security locks from the front office. You keep the key.

Q: How do you keep track of who enters and exits your property?
The way we keep track of people going in and out of our property is by giving everyone an access PIN.  We then log the use of those PIN numbers and also utilize video surveillance.

Q: Do you provide dollies or carts to help me move my things?
To make your move in and out of your storage unit as easy and convenient as possible, we offer dollies and handcarts.

Q: Do I need insurance for the things I store with you?
Storage insurance is not mandatory but it is recommended.  Your homeowner's insurance company offers a rental property rider usually at a reasonable cost.

Q: Do I have to sign a long-term storage contact?
At Steeplechase Storage, you do not need to sign a long-term contract as all storage can be done on a month-to-month basis.
